The sixth edition of the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP L5) to The
Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 has been
published this week.
This ACoP and guidance provides practical advice to help duty holders comply with the requirements of the COSHH
Regulations. The new version takes account of regulatory changes
following the introduction of the EU Regulations for REACH
(Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals.)
and CLP (European Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on classification,
labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures). It is aimed at duty
holders and health and safety professionals, but health and safety
representatives and managers may also find it useful. Download your
